Graphic Communications Scholarship Award and Career Advancement Foundation, Inc.
Criteria
- High school seniors, undergraduate or graduate students with an interest in the Graphic Communications / Graphic Arts / Media Industry are encouraged to apply.
- High school students are required to email their official final high school transcript.
- Undergraduate and graduate students are required to email their official transcripts to verify enrollment and a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0.
- Applicants are required to upload their most recent resume.
- Applicants are required to participate in a live GCSF Zoom interview with the scholarship committee.
- Applicants are required to provide three letters of recommendation on organizational letterhead. Two from school/college faculty and one from an extra-curricular activity leader. Eg., Religious leader, sport coach, or community leader who can attest to the applicant's participation in a sport or community activity.
- All applicants are required to write a 500-word essay on who they are and where they want to focus their future in the Graphic Communications / Graphic Arts / Media Industry.
- Applicants who are awarded scholarships are encouraged to attend a minimum of two GCSF events and to participate in the GCSF Mentoring Program within the scholarship year.
- All applicants must complete and electronically sign the scholarship application and ensure it is uploaded along with all other material.
- All fields in the application form are mandatory.
