Amybeth has more than 25 years of experience in the printing and publishing industry and is currently Assistant Manager of Print Workflow at Macmillan Publishers. She was exposed to the industry at a very young age by her father who was well known and highly regarded in the industry. This exposure convinced her, early on, that she wanted to have a career in this industry.

While still in high school, she mastered how to operate an electronic color scanner and an electronic imaging system. She loved the technology that this equipment employed and after finishing school she began her career in the industry. She also learned and became proficient with various proofing systems, profiling systems, direct to plate systems and workflow management systems.

Prior to joining Macmillan Publishers she managed large corporate pre-press departments for some of the industry’s well-known printing companies. Throughout her entire career, she has continued to study and learn new technologies by staying up to date with new applications, new technologies and new industry standards.

At Macmillan Publishers Amybeth currently provides a variety of Adobe Application training, Workflow Color Management training, Industry Best Practices training, as well as application support for Macmillan Publishers. Her training provides creative inspirations, implementing workflows for finishing, and standards to streamline production, resulting in improved production efficiency, increased productivity, decreased downtime, and waste reduction.

Amybeth is a recognized Adobe Certified Instructor Layout and Design Expert, Adobe Creative Educator, ACA in Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects. She is also an Idealliance Certified Color Management Print Master and G7 Certified Expert.
