Andrew Joyce, a West Orange, New Jersey resident, has dedicated over 30 years to the print media industry, focusing on print and digital production. His career began in journalism, working as a photographer and journalist for various newspapers, which laid the foundation for his understanding of the print media market. Joyce's early career included a stint in Philadelphia, working as a photographic assistant and type repro board drafter at an ad agency, where he also delivered ad proposals to clients like Campbell's and SEPTA, before the era of FTP services, cellular networks, and on-site proofing.

Returning to New Jersey with a renewed determination to enter the New York City magazine market, Joyce started in prepress customer service at Pubset in Union, NJ, during a time when film dominated and direct to plate imaging was just a theory. He played a key role in meeting tight deadlines for New York magazines by transporting overdue film to RRD facilities for imaging to plates.

Transitioning to production operations in New York City, Joyce's career flourished in magazine print production, navigating through numerous consolidations and closures. He has worked on a wide array of titles including New Woman, New York, Seventeen, Country Music News, Psychology Today, Spy, Mother Earth News, GQ, Bon Appetit, Glamour, Vogue, Teen Vogue, Allure, Architectural Digest, and CN Traveler, taking on roles from ad traffic to issue mapping, production planning, budgeting, estimating, custom printing project management, and staff management. Notably, he was part of the team that produced the largest bound copy of Vogue magazine in 2012.

Currently, Joyce is with PWX solutions, a leading company in marketing services, production service, and paper procurement, where he focuses on providing exemplary service to Hearst Magazines clients.
