The one major takeaway Jessie Murphy received when she was awarded her first scholarship from GCSF was “pay it forward.”

As a multi scholarship alumni, Jessie knew it was a natural fit to pursue the path to become as Trustee of the Foundation, which she been a part of over 5 years.

Being educated through the CUNY system to now owning two small businesses, Jessie uses over a decade of her knowledge as a graphic designer and marketing professional to assist the students throughly their academic and future professional careers. She has co-founded the GCSF Mentoring Committee, guiding students and alumni through one on one enrichment and tools to prepare them for the real world of Graphic Communications.
